Giving Personalities to Your Home!

People usually think that owning a luxury home is having an all-in package deal, which is true. With this in mind, homebuyers would simply move in after the purchase and continue to live like nothing significant happened. They see, accept, and live on a house they barely know. Moving houses, what others don’t seem to understand, is also synonymous to shifting lives. Our home reflects every single person residing in it, collectively speaking.

Like people, houses have personalities on their own. These personalities are acquired as years pass by through decoration, maintenance and architecture. With that being said, it is the responsibility of the owners to sprinkle a dash of personality on the house.

If you bought a house, you should at least focus on the decoration and maintenance instead on the architecture. Once the decorations done, maintenance should be observed.

The beauty of decorating your own house goes two-way: (1) it allows you to be specific and be visionary on the things you want to see in your home; (2) you can bond with your kids as you do this!

Like these:

  1. To do this, you will have to buy the best quality paint that you could find. Keep in mind that adding paint texture reduces the pant by almost 50%. Mix the desired color palette and paint thickly on the wall. Wait for at least 5 minutes before brushing the extra down using a grass broom. Be mindful to this evenly.
  2. For this project, all you need are small jars with drilled holes on both opposite sides of the lid, small candles, chain ferrules & stop and wire. Before inserting the wire on the lid, try to remove the board on top it to allow air circulation when the candles are lighted. Be sure to create a loop on the first lid though to give the jars support and proper distance from one another. After closing the final loop for the final jar, put the candles after lighting them and enjoy! This project is suitable for outdoor dinner this summer and you wouldn’t have to spend expensively! 3. For this however, you need to consult on your realtor. (The top two photos are houses from Las Vegas Fine Homes.)
